Randy Boyd, commissioner for Tennessee Economic and Community Development, visited us in Henderson this Wednesday.
One of our software engineers, Kaleb Glass, talked with Boyd about 8th Day Software’s efforts to engage Tennessee businesses. Since a majority of our clients are out of state, we assume that means Tennessee businesses are seeking technology services across state lines. We’d like to see more Tennessee businesses contract services within the state.
Commissioner Boyd’s visit comes right on the heels of another exciting presence at our office.
Marsha Blackburn, US congresswoman for Tennessee, toured new developments in Henderson March 10, including our own expanded offices and operations.
Dave talked about our experience in developing healthcare software and how our solutions improve patient experience and streamline communication between medical professionals. For example, if doctors, pharmacies, and manufacturers could track high-cost, specialty medications from a shared application, it could bolster efficiency within the healthcare field and preserve lower prescription costs.
